After Saturday, BHU students will leave for their homes to celebrate the festival of colours for a week. The occasion of Holi filled the University students with enthusiasm to paint the faces of their loved ones. Before leaving for their respective homes, the whole BHU campus was drenched in Colours. Everyone played colours and put gulaal on each other with great pomp.
The enthusiasm of playing holi was visible in students since the morning. The volunteers arranged Music and colours in their respective faculties to celebrate this festival with joy.
The joy of being around hundreds of people after the Covid’s uncountable waves was visible in the faces of young students. While celebrating Holi, the students playing colors here said that after a long time after Covid, all of us friends are getting a chance to know each other. That’s why it feels great to celebrate Holi this time.
Divya of Masters Final Year, drenched in the colors of Holi, said that this time Holi preparations have been done very well in the BHU campus. You see, how everyone is immersed in Holi with music, thandai, drums and drums in the campus.
Manish from Arts Faculty said that “I have been in the campus for the last 6 years and am having a lot of fun. Today, after playing Holi with all our friends, we will go to our respective homes for Holi holidays. Because of Covid, we are celebrating Holi after two years. Holi music festival will go on for two hours. After this, there is a mud Holi in the last.”
