BHU: UG-PG final year classes started from today, students arrived to study wearing masks


Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has started UG, PG final year classes from September 1. Along with this, the allotment of hostels has also started from today. The garden of Mahamana is once again buzzing. Corona protocol is being followed in the university. Along with social distancing in classes, students are sitting on seats. At present, due to the opening day of BHU, students have reached in small numbers.

As incidents of assault, stone-pelting etc. happened even before the commencement of classes in the campus, it will be a big challenge to maintain peace and order in the campus after the commencement of classes and allotment of hostels. However, after a meeting with the police officers, BHU administration, which took place in the past regarding the security arrangements, now special monitoring will be done from the rooms in the hostel to the mess.

Preparations are going on in the departments, faculties since the decision of the classes being closed during the Corona period to start from September 1. Meanwhile, on Tuesday also, the time-table for running classes in the departments, giving responsibility to teachers, etc., were finalized. However, hostels will also be allotted to the final year students from September 1.
